Conference Venue

The GMDS & CEN 2020 will take place at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin at the Campus Charité Mitte.

Public transportation

From Central Station (Berlin - Hauptbahnhof) it takes about 10 minutes by foot to reach the three conference buildings.​

The conference venue is easily accessible via public transportation:

  • S-Bahn: S3, S5, S7, S9 to Central Station or S1, S2 to Friedrichstraße

  • U-Bahn: U6 to Friedrichstraße

  • Bus: line 120/123/142/147/245/M41/M85/N20/N40/TXL  to Central Station

  • Tram: 12, M10, M5, M8 to U Naturkundemuseum or Invalidenpark


1 - Langenbeck-Virchow-House

Luisenstraße 58/59, 10117 Berlin

The Langenbeck-Virchow-House was built in 1913 and reopened in 2005 as a centre enabling scientific exchange. The impressive foyer, which will be used as exhibition space for sponsors, comprises 250 m².

2 - Charité CrossOver

Virchowweg 6, 10117 Berlin

The new Charité CrossOver building has an extraordinary sunlight flooded atrium, which provides a perfect exhibition space for sponsors.

3 - Wilhelm-Waldeyer-House (Anatomy)

Phillippstr. 12, 10117 Berlin

The historical Wilhelm-Waldeyer-House (Anatomy) from 1865 represents the long lasting roots of the Charité and has been the location for several professional film shootings.  In the foyer there is room for scientific exchange accompanied by an interesting anatomic exhibition.
